Need information on the best way to visit disney world in florida?

We are taking two adults, granny, two little kids and a 20 yr old son. Is there a better economical way or best resort to go to with a large family? I would like some information from people that have actually travels with large group like us. Are there any resorts that are kid friendly and that might have savings for having them?Need information on the best way to visit disney world in florida?I always recommend staying at WDW resort hotels. A few of the hotels have larger rooms/villas that sleep 5-8 people. The major advantages of staying on-site are:

1) you get transportation to/from your hotel from the airport (it is called magical express---they will even take your luggage directly from baggage claim and deliver it to your room later so you don't have to wait---you check into your hotel and go straight to the park if you want)

2) transportation to/from the parks (either by boat or bus)

3) earlier or later admission to the parks than other guests (each park has days they either stay open later or open earlier for resort guests only. you can find out which parks are doing this during your stay on the website).

The Disney hotels can be a bit more expensive, but I think they are well worth it. They have 3 price classes of hotels---you can look at them on the website.

Also, the last 2 times I went, I purchased the optional meal plan. I think it was a great option....it may or may not work out to what you would normally spend on food, but it allows you to go to some really great restaurants that you might not have chosen to go to if you were paying out of pocket.

Lastly, I have always found that going in the fall is by far the cheapest time to go.

Have fun!Need information on the best way to visit disney world in florida?
There is absolutely no better way then staying at a condo resort very close to Disney. You will save LOTS of money have LOTS of room and be in a resort with great facilities just 2 miles from Disney. If you check out the website below be sure to check out the video tour also

This saves us loads of money compared to hotels or renting villas via travel agents. Dont stay at a Disney hotel the cost just isnt worth it and you will still save loads by renting a

mini-van and all travelling together.

A 2 week holiday rental of a villa costs us around 拢800 ($1500) for the 9 of us which i feel is a bargain.Need information on the best way to visit disney world in florida?

I am heading there with my family in 3 more days WHOO HOO!Need information on the best way to visit disney world in florida?Stay at one of the Disney resorts. They have rooms that can accomodate your group, and it is the best way to visit Disney. Disney has a resort that will fit any budget plus the Disney resorts give you something that the off site resorts can't, PERKS! (Not to mention the famous Disney service). Disney takes great care of their resort guests and it is worth the cost. For example you are going with two younger children as well as a grandmother. The best thing in the world for you will be the transportation system, which you get to ride free of charge. You have a bus (or the monorail if you are at the deluxe resorts) pick you up and take you to whatever park or attraction you are going to, and the busses run every 15 minutes or so. The off site hotels offer a shuttle service, but the time is not flexible and in many cases it costs extra.

I would check out the Disney website for more information. They have a resort comparison tool that you can use that will help you pick the resort that is right for you, plus you can get a quote on the cost. Also, check out the disboards. The disboards is a message board website that has tons of information on it as well, and it is all about going to Disney. You can get resort reviews, trip reports, tips for avoiding crowds, dining reviews, and much more. I put both links below.Need information on the best way to visit disney world in florida?
