How much information do we get from China via espionage?

It seems like several times a year I read horrifyingly scary stories about Chinese industrial and military espionage against the United States where they steal ridiculous sums of classified information, new military technology plans, etc. However, you never hear about US espionage against China and other countries. Does it happen or is that against US (or UN) laws and treaties? What branch of the government or military is involved if we do involve ourselves with espionage (I'm guessing some branch of the CIA - anyone know what exactly?) Or, because of the nature of espionage, do countries hide their own activities and only report about other countries spying on them? For example, does the Chinese media report about US espionage? How much information do we get from China via espionage?China is a closed society with government controlled media. Need more be said about reporting any new story openly. The reason you hear about espionage by Chinese operatives against the US is because reporting such events benefits US strategy. Conversely reporting our espionage efforts would hamper our efforts and possibly place operatives at risk. How much information do we get from China via espionage?it is just china threat rumor by the govt and the media.
