How to deal with someone who is constantly giving false information?

Lately, I have been dealing with this girl who assumes she knows everything always getting into a fuss because she thinks her information is 100% correct. I get very upset because, when I correct her information with the actual facts she tells me I am wrong.



What do I do? She has not said anything correct so far and is giving me a hard time. She tells me I am a retard and that I need to learn how to read? :S



I feel like decking her in the face but, I can't... Since you know this girl talks like she knows everything, but really doesn't, then just politely listen to her and then check the facts for yourself. Actually, this is good advice for anything ANYONE tells you....check it out for yourself (including what I am telling you!).



As for your friend, people who are know-it-alls usually have had some instance in their lives where they felt really stupid so they don't want to feel stupid anymore so they overcompensate.



Don't tell your friend that she doesn't know what she's talking about but rather tell her she doesn't HAVE TO KNOW everything.
