What is the difference between computer science and information technology for people in college.?

I want to go into computer major but i don't know what to choose, I like programming, game design, information tech, web design, and stuff that is like those. Which is in more demand too, ( more job openings) , Thank you for your time.What is the difference between computer science and information technology for people in college.?It partly depends on where you plan to study, but generally if you choose Computer Science you'll be studying all the theoretical aspects of the subject, and there's a lot of pure math, besides all the basic stuff such as "how does a computer work", "how does an operating system work"...



If you choose Information Technology you'll be studying a lot of communication systems, electronics, etc., not only about computers.What is the difference between computer science and information technology for people in college.?computer science use higher level math, theory, programming
